Recorded at Rockfield Studio in Monmouth, Wales in August 1980, this new 5 piece band were to produce one of the most iconic albums of the 80s

The front and back cover of the album are photographs taken from the monitor during the filming of the Kings of the Wild Frontier video in early August 1980

There are two versions of the Kings album in the UK, most releases have the standard single version of Antmusic, the one featuring the alternate mix of Antmusic can be identified by the CBS-S 84549 A2 matrix number on the run out groove of side 1, which is pictured below
