Recorded at Rockfield Studio in Monmouth, Wales in August 1980, this new 5 piece band were to produce one of the most iconic albums of the 80s

The back cover of the album is a photograph taken from the monitor during the filming of the Kings of the Wild Frontier video in early August 1980

Released in 2012 as an "Art Vinyl" album with a CD included.
The CD was a slimline card case of the 2005 remaster.

The front sleeve of the LP is the same as the image used for the remaster CD rather than the original vinyl sleeve

This release did not come with a lyric sheet.
