Recorded at Rockfield Studio in Monmouth, Wales in August 1980, this new 5 piece band were to produce one of the most iconic albums of the 80s

The front and back cover of this album are photographs taken from the monitor during the filming of the Kings of the Wild Frontier video in early August 1980

Although on Epic, the Japanese version of the Kings album has the same running order as the CBS releases worldwide.
The Japanese album was issued in April 1981 after the worldwide success of the band.
The album also has the Obi strip around the outside of the sleeve, this details the price, catalogue number and other details used in ordering vinyl.
Although commonly known as an Obi strip, the correct term is actually TASUKI which translates as "ribbon".
