The first single to be released following the Kings of the Wild Frontier album.

The front and back cover of the single were taken during the filming of the Stand and Deliver promotional video at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire by Allan Ballard.

The B-side, Beat my Guest, is an old Ants song from 1977 which was the first song that the band had played at their debut gig at the ICA restaurant.

This was to be the band's first UK number one single
