Maneaters - Nine to Five

B Side
Suzi Pinns - Jerusalem

This is the original and withdrawn sleeve for the single which relied heavily on the more recent success of Adam Ant and Toyah, using their images on the sleeve to sell the single.
Both Adam and Toyah objected to the use of their image to promote the single and how their names were used to sell the record rather than the fictional band name Maneaters which was in smaller letters in brackets after their names.
A few test copies were made up before a new sleeve was designed for the release.

After the worldwide success of Adam and the Ants and subsequently Toyah, EG records released this song taken from the film soundtrack for Jubilee The Outrageous Soundtrack from the Motion Picture

Maneaters was a fictional band featured in the film. The recording of the song Nine to Five featured Adam Ant playing guitar, bass, harmonica as well as backing vocals to Toyah's lead vocals.
Dave Barbe played the drums.
The music for the song was written by Adam Ant

The B side featured Suzi Pinns who was played by Jordan in the film.
At the time of filming Jordan was manager for Adam and the Ants and one song vocalist for their live performances.
