The endless loop tape cartridge was popular from the mid 1960s until late 1982, making the Friend or Foe album one of the last to be released in this as a regular format.
8 tracks are still produced, but in very limited quantity and to limited markets.


The picture on the front of the 8 track was taken by Allan Ballard.


The 8 track cassette pictured here is exactly the same as the previously listed version but this one was released through Columbia House, Terra Haute, IN.
The CBS records - Columbia House site on North Fruitridge Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana became the principal distribution centre for the Columbia Record Club, the CBS direct-to-home mail marketing organisation, which opened in 1953 and closed just over 30 years later.
