Adam and the Ants debut album recorded and released in 1979. After the recording the line up of the band:
Adam Ant Andy Warren Dave Barbe Matthew Ashman
only lasted for another month, after which they struggled on for the rest of the year before breaking up, with the help of Malcolm McLaren
This third pressing of the album (manufactured in 1981) had a woman sitting on a chair the same as the second pressing on both labels rather than the Do-it speaker logo.
This pressing can only be identified by the Matrix numbers (which gives a UK date of 7th January 1981) and the outer sleeve of the album as follows:
This third pressing spine has Adam and the Ants with an S rather than a backwards Z, plus a different and bold font
The original pressings have the Adam and the Ants text with a backwards Z rather than an S, with the more compact Futura font
The third pressing album lower spine has RIDE 3 DO IT RECORDS
The original pressing album lower spine has DO IT RECORDS RIDE 3
The Do it Records address on the back of the album sleeve has a PO box number rather than the full address as on previous pressings
